This set was requested by Beastyn @ Eredar a little while ago. I'm not sure if he actually acquired these, or not, but the challenge was to make a set around the Tusks of Mannoroth and also keep the feel of the unique look that Garrosh brings to the table.
I focused the transmog on the inside of the set, where Garrosh has a distinctive skull belt and hide leggings. Obviously, there isn't a topless model for plate, so getting the exact look isn't possible. So I played up the animal hide look, and tried to put something with chain-links in it.
The result felt quite good, especially when it comes to the leathery look and the straps across the back on the male model. It keeps the same chains and leather feel on a female character, but has a little more coverage.
Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes!
I can't begin to put into words the absolutely amazing coolness that is MogIt_Armory, brought to us by Aelo (on Twitter). I will, however, show off some of the amazing sets it breaks down for you!
I was happy to see Draynee, Honeypants, Kamalia, Kimstar, Zazzy, and many many other bloggers with their sets right up at the top. The narcissist in me was most excited about seeing my Horde baby looking pretty in her Firelord set. Aellin is a lucky little ducky, since her name is very much at the beginning of an alphabetical list.
MogIt is so feature rich, that it's usefulness cannot be overstated. Not only can you design a set you are making, but you can make anything your heart desires. There is no boundary that says you can't make something strictly for role-playing or even design something for a class you are thinking about making. They sky is the limit, and MogIt makes it possible.
Below is a a gallery of all the different races that had feature sets associated with them. Oh, would you look at that. Blood Elves are first alphabetically, too. Winning by virtue of organization! Click a picture to see them larger, and congratulations to all of you who are featured in this first release!
My sincerest thank you going out to Aelo and whomever helped bring this feature to an already amazing game changer. I hope my excitement is felt by all who see this glorious addition to the best add-on ever created. Geeking out so hard. :p
MogIt, designed by Aelobin and Lombra , is the quintessential utility for item previewing and set design. I use it. I use it, a lot. And when I am done using it, I use it some more. Sliced bread doesn't even compare to it, unless I feel like designing sets in peanut butter and jelly! No, not even then. I'll eat the bloody sandwich while using MogIt, instead. You can search virtually every item that can be used in transmogrification, and you can even ask it to show you things that cannot be used. This section is for ideas that either my friends or I have come up with, but not necessarily have the time to go and collect every piece. I don't mog as often as I talk about it, so this will allow those sets to avoid the dust bin, altogether! A little polish, a lot of flourish, and a smidgen of creativity. Viola! Sets! Paste the "(Items Used)" links into the MogIt preview pane to begin! :p
