Priests have always had an interesting place in World of Warcraft. Being cloth wearers, they are the most vulnerable class to melee's blows. Their shields, I believe, are their saving grace. (See what I did there? :p) I have on many occasions cursed their very existence, and been grateful when they are fighting by my side. Shadow priests simply melt faces these days. This is a big change from their early history, where they were just considered to be Extra-Lite Warlocks: Less damaging, and won't slow you down. :p
The love for priests is out there, and mine will always be special to me. But you've come for the mogs, so here are some of the priests that have tread the paths of light and shadow and ended up here with some great looks:
But back to the Siege of Orgrimmar, where Aellin and Amerisia have been spending the vast majority of their time. It has been quite a headache inducing ordeal. Granted, it is early into the Raid Finder portion. There does, however, seem to be a large disconnect for these groups to learn the simplified mechanics. And lets face it, Raid Finder is a very simplified version of a mechanics heavy raid.
Despite the trials and tribulations, the experience has been pleasurable, so far. We have now taken down Nazgrim, and Aellin has made off with everything he has to offer her. Getting the two handed mace last week, and tier gloves with the shield this week, has made me pleased as punch. It just took a little longer this week to get through it all.
Amerisia, being my third level 90 warrior, has had to play catch up. Oddly enough, they both have the same item level, give or take just a couple. This has a lot to do with Amerisia skipping ahead with Heroic Throne of Thunder, just before the patch. And her luck hasn't been terrible in the Siege, either. I am dying to get the items necessary to make a new set for her. And, for me, that is the major motivator. If I gear out, that means I mog-it-up.
As for Arithan, who is supposed to be my main, he has seen the least action of all three of them. Finding a stable arena partner has been difficult, since I play either during my lunch break, or late at night after the family hits the hay. Scheduling play time any earlier usually ends in drama, the likes of which I haven't seen outside of an role-playing guild. But if anyone on a U.S. server is down for some weeknight arena with a well dressed Night Elf or Blood Elf at 9:30 PM Pacific Time, drop me a line.
I am looking forward to seeing Part 3 of the Siege, when it is released. The story unfolding is quite grand, and even more so when viewed from both sides of the war. There is a distinct air of tension between the major characters of each faction as they work together to take down Garrosh. And make no mistake, he needs to be extinguished. I'm looking forward to see how it plays out.
Until next time we meet, my fellow addicts. Remember to wear your transmogrification sets proudly. And as always: MOG ALL THE THINGS! :p
